Built from the ground up, ILDS allows General Body & Equipment to track their employees, clients, suppliers, jobs, quotations, purchase orders, inventory, timesheets, and everything else you can imagine! General Body & Equipment is currently comprised of four geographically diverse branches – all tightly integrated into a single system.
Aside from generally tracking the day-to-day business features you would expect, ILDS tightly integrates with their QuickBooks accounting system – allowing a single point of data entry & synchronization regardless of whether that information goes first into ILDS or QuickBooks. Bills & other project related paperwork is scanned in at the branch level & immediately made available on the server to any relevant employee. Granular security lets them control access to screens & reports by branch & employee – helping to keep information confidential using that security & encryption, but making functionality available at the top level to view multi-branch data where needed. Scanned bills are categorized using imported QuickBooks information so staying on top of multi-branch accounting can be as quick as desired with access to scanned pdfs of actual bills.
Integrated employee time tracking & QuickBooks integration has allowed them to easily pay employees & suppliers a like using bulk EFT creation that easily uploads to their bank.
We are currently testing through project tracking features using Gantt charts & quotation worksheets for the jobs themselves. Direct employee availability calculations allows us to estimate project plans at the click of a button. Also being tested is a time tracking phone app (GBETime) that allows employees to easily track jobs they are working on throughout the day by simply scanning properly placed QR Codes. This time tracking is visible in real time for managers & downloadable for the accounting department to verify, have authorized by department managers, and then posted to QuickBooks!
